Reid and CPS (as a child)

No matter how one consider it - Reid should REALLY have been removed from his mother after his dad left, and the thought has been bothering me for a while. So... I'd like recs of stories where someone reacts to her instability and his home life during childhood. His mother can give him away, taken away, adopted... in short well written stories where Spencer is given a 'proper' childhood without having to be the 'parent' at home. Team can be involved somehow too - but not a must.. When it comes to timeline I'm not particularly picky... Can be looking back or happening, or just happened or anything.. as long as its important to the story and characters. ... main issue is the fact that he is removed from Diana Reid and what happens before/during/after that.. help?
