The only thing I remember about the fic is that Reid ended up in some kind of alternate universe town with Sam and two others. Some solider (I think) and some girl.
There might have been more people but I can't really remember. I know Ava ends up showing up and Sam almost falls for her at some point but it turns out she's dangerous. They're all instructed to turn on each other but of course Reid and Sam won't do it, I think the solider is the first to turn and tries to kill them and he and Sam end up in some battle with Reid watching on the sidelines.
At some point Reid protects Sam with his fire power and Dean gets all aggro and tells him to let down the fire walls so he can get to his brother when him and the team end up finally showing up.
I'm pretty sure the beginning starts with Sam telling Dean he needs to meet Reid because he's aware of his fire power.
I don't remember if I ever finished the fic, but I'm pretty sure it was LJ that I read it on.
