Reid's father

A while a go I've read a fanfiction and I don't remember much but I know Reid's father went to jail and later on tried to apologise he wrote letters to Reid I think. Also I'm pretty sure Reid was married or at least had a girlfriend and a little sister I think...
Maybe the whole thing was a series, but I'm not sure...
This bugged me for the last few days, maybe one of you guys knows what I mean and where I can find it :)
