I read a story on Fanfiction.net where Gideon introduces Reid to the team and has him hired for geological mapping. Reid is really shy, but begins to open up more- especially to Hotch. Gideon gets upset about it and physically abuses Reid. If I recall correctly, the abuse may have also been sexual. I don't recall if this turned into a Hotch/Reid fic or not, but I'd really love to read it again!
